Grafton Mere

Grafton Mere, has to be one of my favorite fisheries of last year, the carp lake fished like a dream and on every occasion me and the lads had aching arms at the end of every session, mainly carp in the 6 to 8lb region but they fight like lunatics many a laugh was had trying to bring them in!!

Slightly frozen Low Hill's

Low Hills pond, this place fished really well too last year, some great carp came out and rumours of a 17lb were landed by a local man, the chub showed well in the summer and good nets of skimmers tench and crucians all produced good nets through-out the year, great sport all year round

Somewhere in Hull

gra_0072.jpg

Hull fisheries, this place is one of the maddest places i have ever fished the pond is actually in the owners back garden very large water and caters for a good number of anglers, the sheer amount of catch's on a day must be in the 100lb region if you can keep up with the fish, there's also a good head of double figured common's!, the owner has some strange ways and is very strict on the rules coming round and checking hooks and so-on but if you can put up with him you will have a good days fishing

Lockwood (free Fishing)

Quite a hard water to fish, there is a lot of weed and natural food for the fish here, lots of bloodworm. Dont let this put you off though as there is some very good fish in here especially the carp if your prepared to sit it out pr-baiting could be the answer there, its a bit of a mixed bag but there are some good shoals of silver fish and good sport when feeding
